make a wish

a mooncake festival down the street had several gaming booths and drawing booths for children. the only booth that all the adults were visiting was the wishing well booth. a golden (painted) well with a lighted sign that says ‘well of wealth’ (best guess) fills the tent with it’s eerie red light, there’s even some smoke that comes out of it. it looks more like a cauldron of death than a wishing well. crowds of people, approach the well with coins, stand next to the well and make a wish and toss their coins in. no refunds if your wish doesn’t come true.
