denzel, halle and woody step on stage
i completely missed the oscars because of some volunteering i’m doing. it seems like maybe i should’ve taped it (if only for woody allen’s appearance). i was checking out all the winners and it looks like the academy read my beautiful mind.
the right leads won, all the technical awards matched my picks. i haven’t seen any live action shorts nominated but other than that, i should’ve called my bookie. i would’ve made hella cake.
the only two upsets were:
foreign language film: which should’ve been amelie.
best music (song): which should be anyone that’s not randy newman that year.
