wow, it’s been a while since an an interesting post popped up at AICN. i really am sypathetic to this article for i too am a victim of the vfx industry, twisting in the wind.
i’m a big fan of dreamquest images’ work since “the abyss”, to be specific i’m a big fan of Hoyt Yeatman. he’s one of the old school dogs who was able to adapt to the new CGI technology and integrate it into his already big bag of tricks.
slightly off-topic, but i saw MIB2 and the vfx were mixed, some were solid but others looked horrible. what is up with that?
