Filmworks/FX gives grants

Filmworks/FX, a Los Angeles-based post-production facility, has announced an awards program offering $125,000 in post-production grants to aspiring filmmakers in 2007.

Grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 in post-production services, will be provided for select winners of popular film festivals as well as to several film schools around the country. Grants will support lab and telecine work.
