too bad the car is hella ug-ug

while i was in singapore last month, i was at the cinema and a commercial for the toyota matrix was shown before the movie. as i was watching it, i thought:
- wow, the quality of this animation is great.

- i’m surprised that this is a car commercial and that [...]

the film is stunning, the art direction and lighting are beautiful and it can show what one person can do (in two years, i mean)

astoboy! finally

sony will make astroboy a feature film. helmed by eric leighton (co-direcor ‘dinoaur’), written by todd alcott (’antz’) and ken kaufman (’space cowboys’).
not exactly the strongest credits on this project and there’s no defined budget but the story of astroboy is interesting enough (of course, hollywood may dilute it ).
also, there’s no mention on if [...]

our phone line was getting worked on this weekend. so our dsl connection was on and off throughout.
not much happened, beautiful day sunday, took pictures (with lomo) and will post when they develop.
in the middle of a huge hard drive cleanup and archiving so i’m a bit disorganized right now with regards to posts both [...]
